28 de September de 2026 Cluster has been named an OpenAI Select Partner and joins the OpenAI Partner Network, the global program for companies that develop, sell, and deliver solutions built on OpenAI models. The partnership gives us access to resources, training, and direct support from OpenAI for the AI work we already do with clients and inside our own products. What has changed in the work over the past few years Since 2014, our work has sat at the point in the data chain where someone reads a number and makes a decision. For years that point was a dashboard, an executive screen, or a public portal. In many of today’s projects it is also a chat window where a manager asks an agent how the region performed in Q3 and expects an answer they can bring into a meeting. Connecting an AI agent to a BI tool or a database became an afternoon task. The problem is that the result is usually a chart that doesn’t answer the question, context too shallow to decide anything, or a number no one has audited. Fixing that requires the same dataviz curation and governance Cluster has applied for twelve years in BI screens, now inside a conversation. Where OpenAI models fit in In Data Interaction projects, OpenAI models run behind the agents, chats, and API integrations we design to talk to each client’s data layer. Every project starts from scratch: the client’s vocabulary, their business rules, governance rules that define what the agent can answer, and curation that decides which chart accompanies each response. The model is one piece of the architecture, not the whole product. The same models power NewHub, our product that makes Qlik Cloud usable by anyone in the company. NewHub’s conversational layer uses OpenAI to answer questions about Qlik Cloud data without the user leaving the product or needing Qlik Answers. Why OpenAI “We chose OpenAI’s models for their balance of performance and cost, and that balance matters on both fronts of our work. In a custom Data Interaction solution, the model has to understand the client’s vocabulary and return a number that can be audited, at an affordable cost. In NewHub, which is built for a broad base of Qlik Cloud users, efficiency and cost are what allow us to scale the solution to the enterprise level.” Thiago Pessato, CEO of Cluster What comes next Over the next few months we will expand our conversational BI offering on OpenAI models, train the team on agent development and MCP, and measure AI interface usage with the same criteria we already apply to dashboards. If your company already runs Qlik Sense and needs a conversational layer by voice and chat, talk to our team. Learn more about the OpenAI Partner Network.
