Driving Social Impact Through Data: Cluster in Two Panels at Qlik Connect 2025

This year, Cluster had the honor of participating in two panels at Qlik Connect 2025, one of the world’s leading events for data and artificial intelligence, held in Orlando, USA. It was an inspiring moment to share our work on the global stage—and to highlight how data, when designed with purpose and equity in mind, can drive real social impact.

We’re also thrilled to share that both projects presented are finalists in the Global Transformation Awards, which recognize the most impactful and innovative uses of Qlik technology around the world.

 Panel: Climate Crisis Transparency Dashboard

In this session, Jorge (Head of Product at Cluster) shared the story behind one of Brazil’s most urgent data initiatives: the Climate Crisis Transparency Dashboard, developed in collaboration with the State Department of Finance (SEFAZ-RS) during the catastrophic floods that affected nearly 500 cities in Rio Grande do Sul in 2024.

“We told the story of how the 2024 floods devastated nearly 500 cities in Rio Grande do Sul. The highlight was how solidarity from across Brazil turned into a massive wave of donations—creating a new challenge: managing all that aid. We showed how Cluster partnered with the State Department of Finance to build a dashboard that started as an internal tool and evolved into a public-facing transparency portal. The result: better coordination, real-time visibility, and stronger public trust.” — Jorge, Head of Product at Cluster

Now live on the official Transparency Portal, the dashboard provides an integrated view of the floods’ impacts, connecting data on infrastructure, health, environment, and social vulnerabilities. It’s a vital tool for emergency coordination and equitable reconstruction—proving that territorialized, accessible data can save lives.

Panel: Breast Cancer Panorama in the SUS

In our second panel, we turned to another critical challenge: inequities in breast cancer diagnosis and access to treatment across Brazil’s public health system (SUS). Alongside our partners at Instituto Avon and Natura, we presented the Panorama do Câncer de Mama, a data-driven dashboard that reveals gaps across states and municipalities.

“In this panel, we focused on the ongoing challenge of late diagnosis and treatment access within Brazil’s public health system. We presented the Panorama do Câncer de Mama as a data-driven initiative that brings visibility to critical gaps across states and municipalities. The dashboard empowers public managers, civil society, and policymakers with actionable insights—helping drive advocacy, resource allocation, and policy improvement through clear, accessible data visualizations.” — Jorge, Head of Product at Cluster

This project is also a finalist in the Global Transformation Awards, recognizing its contribution to public health advocacy and policy change through data.

Data, Design, and the Future We Believe In

At Cluster, we believe in the transformative power of human-centered data—information that is clear, visual, and rooted in real-world needs. Seeing two Brazilian-led initiatives earn global recognition at Qlik Connect shows what’s possible when technology, design, and public purpose come together.

We’re proud to walk alongside our partners, and we’ll continue building tools that not only inform, but empower—in times of crisis, in health, and in the pursuit of equity.

Let’s keep building a future where data drives justice.
